The department that is in charge of this program uses American sponsors to host them by way of public or private entities. They use visitor exchange programs to complete the project. These are generally au pairs, camp counselors, students, professors, summer, and many more other categories. In order to participate in one of these unique yet useful programs to work live in america, you must first obtain a visa. The type of visa you must have depends on that particular immigration law, and relates to the purpose of your travel. You will either have to obtain an immigrant visa if your plans are to stay in the US permanently or if you plan only a temporary stay you will apply for a non immigrant visa.
